Otherwise, we will remain open seven days a week through the summer.


5th Annual Fiber Art Show!

How would you like to show off what you've made with materials from Heritage, have a chance to win great prizes, and help support cancer research all at the same time?!?! Mark these dates on your calendar: Entries may be dropped off between September 17 and 23; the show opens September 26, with voting through October 3 and winners announced Sunday, October 4, at 2 pm.

All types of fiber art are eligible, if at least 50% of the materials used have come from Heritage. See our art show flier for more information. You can pick up entry forms at the store, or print them yourself from our online entry form.

100% of proceeds will go to the
U of M Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Visiting Instructors:

Don't forget that among the wonderful classes taught by our great local teachers, we have some world-class instructors visiting from around the world. Upcoming in 2009, and 2010, mark your calendars for:

  • Galina Khmeleva, www.skaska.com, who brought Orenburg Shawls to North American knitters, will be teaching Triangular Trilogy on September 19 & 20, 2009.
  • Laura Fry, www.laurafry.com, of Magic in the Water fame, will present Magic in the Water II, October 24 & 25, 2009.
  • March 10 - 12, 2010 will bring Kati Reeder Meek to teach Lustrous Linens: Weaving Linens with Success
