Our stock of yarn grows monthly. Here's a sampling of what's in the store:

Elsebeth Lavold Silky Wool and Angora yarns, plus her incredible unique and wearable pattern books.

Noro Kureyon, Iro and Silk Garden, great for felting or general worsted-weight sweater knitting.

Mango Moon sari silk. Soft, colorful, fun to knit with. A variety of totally free patterns (with purchase).

Louet Euroflax, a sport- weight linen yarn that lasts and lasts. Heirloom knitting at its finest. Also superb for knitting lace washcloths for special gift giving.

Louet Opal, a fingering- weight 100% merino that is perfect for intarsia (check out Lucy Neatby's patterns, for example).

Two popular wools for outerwear or felting: Lamb's Pride and Cascade 220. Yummy colors, instant fun!

WoolPak yarns, the wool of choice for felted knitting projects, is available in many colors and weights. Pair it with a Fiber Trends pattern for clogs, hats, or stuffed sheep, and have a quick project that is fun to do and rewarding to wear or give as a gift.

Philosopher's Wool in kits or by the skein.

Plenty of novelty yarns from Southwest Trading Company, Crystal Palace, Skacel, Knitting Fever, and Euro Yarns.

Jaggerspun Zephyr on cones in lace weight (4050 ypp) and DK weight is scrumptious to knit with as well as weave. DK weight is 1120 yards per pound/cone--lots fewer ends to tie in and a treat to work with. Perfect for knitters or weavers.

Heirloom from Australia: Easy Care 8 washable wool in bright, clear colors screams knit me! Heirloom Mohair, a wool-mohair blend that is delightful to knit, Heirloom Baby Yarn, Heirloom Argyle (sock yarn), Heirloom Breeze--a really soft wool-cotton blend with a little synthetic to enhance its memory, and our latest Heirloom offering, DK-weight Heather, a very nice 100% wool yarn.

For sock knitters, we have a large selection of Regia, Opal, Trekking, and other sock yarns. If you haven't tried these, they make a fun, portable project. Don't miss the wool cotton blend of Regia; it's really wonderful and makes great summertime knitting.

And how about cotton? The Clip yarn is a nice mercerized light worsted weight yarn in a variety of colors ranging from subtle to vibrant. Very close in color and every bit as nice is the fingering weight Catania mercized cotton. We stock all colors in both yarns.

More is always on order . . . stop in often to check things out.
